Mukoda’s Difficulty Gaining Entrance to the Kingdom

Even though the wolf initially rejected every name Mukoda suggested, he eventually settled on Fel as his new familiar. When Mukoda gives Fel the mission of hunting down the meat for his meals, Fel turns into a hunter. Fel’s assistance becomes increasingly apparent to Mukoda as he realizes the value of the components of his kills and the new supplies he can add to his inventory thanks to Fel’s efforts. But the problem is that Fel and other magical wolves have a bad reputation for being dangerous. Mukoda is only allowed entry into the new realm when he and Fel verify Fel’s familiar status. Mukoda must keep paying to get them into the kingdom and its cities, even though he is getting poorer and poorer as time goes on, adding to the problems already experienced by the two.
Mukoda decided in the pilot to start using his knowledge of online grocery shopping to make money. He thinks he can turn a profit by peddling items from contemporary Japan. Mukoda decides to join the Merchant’s Guild so that he can reap the rewards associated with being a merchant. In addition, he decides to become a member of the Adventurer’s Guild in order to acquire aid in his pursuit of Fel’s hunted creatures. Though only briefly explained in this episode, it seems likely that these guilds will play a significant role in Mukoda’s adventures in his new world. Mukoda needs to accept assignments at least once a month to keep his membership in the Adventurer’s Guild. His initial objective is to amass a supply of medicinal herbs; expanding his knowledge of the native flora and fauna of the new globe would undoubtedly improve his culinary talents.
Mukoda: No Room for Hiding

From the very beginning of the series, Mukoda makes it his aim to blend in. Although he may have hoped for a different familiar, he seems to have Fel instead. Anyone who witnesses Mukoda in possession of Fel cannot fail to be impressed by the sheer magnitude of his power. As soon as they step foot in the kingdom, a man approaches Mukoda and extends an invitation to dine with his master that night. Only after Fel threatens him does the man finally leave Mukoda alone. People will want to connect with Mukoda as they see more of him and Fel over the season. Mukoda also experiences success with his first sale, which brings in more money than he had anticipated. He learns that his products are superior enough to be presented as gifts to the royal family.
Despite his best attempts, Mukoda’s transition to this new reality has not been easy. Mukoda has arrived in a new kingdom in Episode 2, and he will encounter numerous challenges there. Most likely, he will keep taking on missions for his guilds and selling contemporary Japanese cuisine items in order to sustain himself financially.
