Blue Lock takes place in a competitive place that was made to make the best shooter in the world. Those sent home lose their chance to go to the World Cup, so the stakes are high for anyone who cares about sports.
Many of the losses in the games have been hard to watch because the players’ hopes are often dashed, or they feel ashamed when they lose to a better player. Those who lose can learn from their mistakes and become strong competitors, but only some have this chance.

The First Loss for Yoichi Isagi

When Yoichi Isagi lost for the first time, it hurt to see how he reacted. This was mainly because it was so real. After this fight in the first episode, everyone on Isagi’s team couldn’t stop thinking about what could have happened instead of something so wrong.
Isagi was punished because he had the chance to take the last shot but didn’t. He gave the ball to another player on his team, but that player missed the goal. No matter how often Isagi’s teacher praised their teamwork and said they weren’t wasting their time, Isagi still cried and felt terrible about what happened.

Team Z lost by four goals to Team X.

In Blue Lock’s First Selection, during Team Z’s first game, everyone only thought about themselves. The person on Isagi’s team who made the most goals was safe from being eliminated, so they were always fighting with each other.
After Shoei Barou’s first goal, Team X started to work well as a single unit. Team X scored five goals quickly, while Team Z needed help scoring just one. Even then, Isagi wasn’t happy about the goal because he passed the ball so someone else could score. It was a huge loss, but Team Z had to work together to win the next games.

Yoichi Isagi, Meguru Bachira, and Seishiro Nagi chose to go up against Rin Itoshi’s team after they formed a team of three. Rin’s team was made up of the first three people to finish the first part of the Second Selection task, and once they started playing, Isagi could feel the enormous difference in skill and experience.
Fans could see through Isagi how frustrating it was for players on the losing team not to get picked because it meant they weren’t the best in their group or even worth recruiting. Isagi and Nagi were left behind while Bachira was brought in.

When Bachira’s friends told him he was weird, he got mad, jumped on one of the other kids, and hit them. They had more people, which quickly turned the fight around. After this, they seemed to avoid Bachira, causing him to imagine a monster that would play with him and keep him company.

Isagi lost the second match against Rin.

As he said he would, Isagi went to Rin and asked him to fight again. Isagi was sure that things would be different with a team of four. Even though he added Chigiri and Barou to his team, Rin’s team was still better. In a wrong turn of events, Meguru’s last shot hit Isagi’s foot, and the ball went toward Rin.
Rin was able to score the winning goal because of this. After Isagi was picked, the rest of his team gave up and fell to the ground. They didn’t want to hear Isagi’s words of relief or support because it would only make them feel worse.

Chigiri was forced to leave Isagi’s group by Isagi.

Isagi’s match against two former Team Z players and Reo Mikage was tough because his opponent knew where his team was weak. Barou also wanted to work separately. He wanted to score goals by himself. Once Isagi figured out how to use Barou as bait, the match was over fast.
Isagi’s strategy needed to be simpler for Chigiri’s team to keep up with. Once Barou started to use his friends like Isagi did, no one could stop him from scoring the last goal. When it was time for Isagi’s team to choose a new partner, the team that had lost felt helpless and scared. Chigiri didn’t even look happy when he was picked because he was leaving his friends behind.

Even though Kunigami had a strong sense of right and wrong, he couldn’t beat the violent Shido or the dishonest Igarashi. He took the wild card training, but it made him a stricter person who gave up on his old values and kindness. After that, Kunigami didn’t talk to many people and felt like a whole new person.

Chris Prince is very embarrassed that Noel Noa beat him at something small. He said Noa only beat him by a few points for the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Award. Noa didn’t wait to tell him he was wrong. He told him that he had 882 votes and Chris only had 201, which was the most significant difference between a first and second place in history.
Chris was very embarrassed when Noa told him to stop babbling. Most of the soccer games in the series are close, but Chris was thoroughly beaten in Blue Lock’s first important popularity poll.
